Can you clarify which way the hinge release must be pulled on the Bottom Mount Trunk Latch ? I would like the cable to route to the driver's side.

Right hand pull latch as pictured, the lever will pull towards drivers side to release the latch if the latch is mounted in the body. If it is mounted on the deck lid it will pull to the passenger side.
